Floor Work & Improvisation in Paris

Intensive workshop with Elisa Spagone.
Dancing means immersing yourself in gravity, challenging the fall, letting go, and then rising again.
Embracing the body’s weight becomes a metaphor for the inner struggle between the human and the divine.
Working with gravity and resistance helps you dance with minimal effort while reaching maximum intensity.
Containing the impulse, softening the fall, and strengthening the push: these are movements that ground the body in the present moment.
The ordered movement opens a new perception of the gesture.
Working with gravity and weight allows us to break free from automatism and create new movements arising directly from the body’s own physicality. Moreover, integrating emotions into movement leads to a dance that is not only an aesthetic performance, but also an authentic self-expression.
The workshop is open to amateurs and professionals.
